SharkDr.com sells and ships within the United States only. We do not ship internationally, we do not work with freight forwarders or mail forwarders, and we do not provide assistance with export of any kind. The policy is firm, and it is the same on every product in the catalog — modern great white teeth, fossil teeth, jaws, pendants, and other modern shark teeth alike.

Why the policy exists

There are two reasons. The first is practical. Modern great white shark material is listed on CITES Appendix II, which restricts cross-border movement of the species and requires permits that fall outside the scope of a private dealer. The second is principled. The sourcing chains we work from are domestic — collectors, settled estates, and operators within the United States — and the trust framework we offer (insured shipping, signature on delivery, lifetime authenticity guarantee, and direct contact with the operator) only operates inside that scope. Extending the policy outside the United States would either compromise the standards or push us into permitting work that we do not pursue.

We apply the same policy to fossil teeth and to non-great-white modern teeth. Those categories are not subject to the same restrictions, but our shipping, insurance, and authentication standards only operate domestically, and we keep the policy uniform so there is no ambiguity at checkout.

What this means in practice

  • We ship to United States residential and business addresses only.
  • We do not ship to addresses outside the United States, including Canada, Mexico, and U.S. territories that are not covered by the standard domestic shipping zone.
  • We do not ship to freight forwarders, mail forwarders, parcel-consolidation services, or any address whose business purpose is international re-export.
  • We do not provide invoices, customs documentation, CITES paperwork, or any other form of export support.
  • We do not sell to U.S.-based intermediaries who intend to resell or ship the item internationally.
  • Attempted forwarding is grounds for cancellation and refund less a five-percent administrative fee, as stated in the Terms of Service.

Buyer responsibilities

Buyers are responsible for any state-level or local restrictions that apply where the package will be delivered. Most U.S. states permit private possession and sale of legitimately sourced great white shark teeth and jaws, and all U.S. states permit fossil shark teeth. A small number of jurisdictions have specific local restrictions on certain wildlife-derived items; if you are uncertain about your jurisdiction, consult an attorney with wildlife and collectibles experience before placing the order. We do not provide legal advice, and we cannot opine on individual cases.

If you are unsure whether a piece can be lawfully delivered to your specific address, contact us before purchase. We will not knowingly ship into a jurisdiction where receipt would be unlawful.

International collectors

We understand the policy is disappointing if you are based outside the United States. The Sold Gallery is the public record we maintain for everyone, and the History page is open access — both are available regardless of buyer location. The current catalog is reserved for U.S.-based collectors.
