Shipping Policy

All orders ship within the United States only. We use insured carriers, require signature on delivery for higher-value orders, and crate jaws individually for freight. Lead times, carriers, and packaging vary by order value and by category.

Where we ship

  • All fifty states, plus the District of Columbia.
  • We ship to United States residential and business addresses.
  • We do not ship to U.S. territories that fall outside our standard carrier coverage. If you are based in a U.S. territory and want to confirm whether we can ship to your address, contact us before placing the order.
  • We do not ship internationally. We do not ship to freight forwarders, mail forwarders, parcel-consolidation services, or APO/FPO addresses where the package will subsequently move outside the United States.

Carriers and rates

Most orders ship via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground, depending on package size, value, and destination. Jaws and other oversized pieces ship via specialist crated freight. Rates are calculated at checkout based on order subtotal.

  • $0 – $499.99: USPS Priority, insured to $100. $15 flat.
  • $500 – $1,499.99: UPS Ground, signature required, insured to full value. $25 flat.
  • $1,500 – $4,999.99: UPS Ground or freight, signature, full insurance. Manual quote.
  • $5,000+ (jaws): Crated freight, full insurance, optional hand delivery. Manual quote.

Insurance and signature

  • Every order is insured for its full purchase price as standard.
  • Orders over $500 require signature on delivery.
  • Orders over $1,500 are held for a brief operator review before shipment, and the buyer is contacted by email or phone to confirm receipt expectations.
  • Jaws and other freight-only items are crated to order; the operator may contact you to schedule delivery and confirm a signature-capable receiver is available.

Lead times

Most in-stock teeth and pendants ship within one to three business days of order placement. Jaws ship within five to ten business days because each piece is crated to order. Higher-value orders may take an additional one to two business days during the operator-review step. Transit time after shipment depends on the carrier and the destination — most U.S. addresses receive standard ground orders within three to seven business days. You will receive tracking by email at the time the package leaves the operator.

Packaging

Loose teeth ship in foam-lined boxes inside double-walled outer cartons, with the certificate of authenticity sealed in a separate envelope. Pendants ship in presentation boxes inside a protective outer carton, with the identification card included. Jaws are crated in custom-built foam-lined wooden crates. Where a buyer has requested a gift note, we include it before sealing the box.

We do not include a packing slip showing the price for orders intended as gifts. If the order is a gift, indicate it in the order-notes field at checkout and we will pack accordingly.

Forwarders, reshipping, and export

We do not ship to freight forwarders, mail forwarders, parcel-consolidation services, or any address whose business purpose is international re-export. We maintain a list of known forwarder ZIP codes and review every order against it before fulfillment. Orders matching a forwarder address are canceled and refunded less a five-percent administrative fee, as stated in the Terms of Service.

If you are a U.S.-based buyer who intends to gift the item to a recipient inside the United States and the recipient is not the billing-address holder, the policy is fine — domestic gifting through a domestic address is normal and welcome. The policy is specifically about international re-export.

Lost or damaged shipments

Insurance covers lost packages and packages damaged in transit. If your shipment is lost or arrives damaged, contact us within five business days of the expected delivery date or the actual delivery date, whichever applies. We will file the claim with the carrier on your behalf and refund or reship at our discretion once the claim is processed. Photographs of any damage to the outer carton, the inner packaging, and the specimen itself help the claim move faster.
